Dinner....Alone

Wow! We got to eat dinner, alone! We had grilled, wild Alaskan salmon, grilled squash, rice with veggies and a glass of wine! I kept commenting that it felt like we were on vacation. The weather was beautiful! About 75 and low humidity. Perfect!!

The bittersweet part of the dinner, alone, was that Chase was sick. That is the ONLY reason why that kid would sleep through dinner. :) He got sick with a fever virus on Thursday afternoon. When he woke up this night, after we finished dinner, his fever was 104.5!! Scary!! He finally woke up Monday morning fever-free.
