More with Just Parkie

This little guy has my heart! Look at that sweet face! We took him to a park one day while the kids were in school so we could focus on just him, since we couldn't do that at the Botanic Gardens.
We love our days alone with just him. Every Tuesday/Thursday. If Phil's home on Thursdays, we go out to eat, a date for us, having just one child.
Parkie is a sweet, sweet boy and will be 16 months old this week! He continues to become such a little boy now and continues to do so many new things.
He now sings, "Ashes, Ashes We All Fall Down". Some new words are- socks, I do it and outside.
A funny thing he did the other day: I took him out of his high chair after lunch, but Julianna's plate with half a sandwich was still on the table. He walked over to it, reeeaached up to the table and pulled off the sandwich and just stood there and ate the whole thing! Why do I think I still need to feed him?!
He continues to grow and last week I realized that his shoes were rubbing open sore on the backs of his heels! What a terrible Mommy I am! So I cleaned out several pairs of shoes that he can no longer wear and gave him two pairs of Chase's old shoes. Looks like we need to do some shoe shopping.

Photo Shoot

We try and take the kids each spring for their yearly pictures, since their birthdays are all relatively that time of year. We love taking them to the Botanic Gardens.


This year the Botanic Gardens have an awesome area open called My Big Backyard. It has all kinds of fun, outdoor things for them to do. We'll have to take them back just to do this area because it was huge and we didn't have a lot of time to stay.

I always love our Botanic Garden pictures! Maybe we can back and do it in the fall too!

I am in LOVE!

Okay, I love, love, love our new camera! We took the older two kids to the park today for a photo shoot. Parker isn't doing so well with those top two front teeth trying to come in...........

.....so we didn't even try to include him in the shoot. He's gonna get his own special day!




None of these have been edited- hence the Halloween candy in his hands. Hey, don't tell me you haven't bribed your kids to get some good pictures.

They did well playing peek-a-boo behind the trees. Much more natural smiles that way for sure!

Okay, as you can see I have a hard time narrowing down my choices. At least now I have all the potentially good ones for Phil to edit (no, I don't know how to do that, nor do I have time to right now.) Thank you Honey!
