Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day at my parents' house today. Uncle Korey came out and celebrated with us today. It was great to see him. My parents just cleaned up my old Strawberry Shortcake kitchen and all the dishes, etc. that go with it and brought it inside for the kids. They have been totally entertained all weekend with it! Uncle Korey and Chase are making a cake with the hand mixer in this picture.

Julianna is really starting to show her independence these days, and she just played and played and played with the kitchen things today and needed no assistance.

She's getting so great at pretend play. She appropriately uses all the kitchen dishes and utensils....and apparently needs to stick her tongue out in order to stir. :)

Chugging some pretend drink here. We were all so surprised to see her doing this today that I had to grab the camera.

Uncle Korey enjoyed playing with Julianna today. She's such a Momma's girl, that she usually won't leave my side, but today she warmed up to Uncle Korey. She's such a flirt! And she looks SO little at table with him!

My Momma with her babies (why am I so short?).

Me with my first baby.

And my second baby, who is not at a good picture taking stage in her life! (She really just wanted to get back to playing kitchen.)

And "Mother" with her legacy. Happy Mother's Day Mom!!

Look at those pretend skills! I love it! And the appropriate play with toys. She is doing so great.
